boundless

Have you ever felt infinity? Has that unlimited sensation come upon you? Unbidden; unexpected... I wept when that first happened to me, wept with the joy: an overflowing, an overflowing, for how can one contain the infinite?

As the mind becomes more silent, these mysteries begin to show themselves. For words can neither describe nor contain such experiences. Boundlessness comes when the words have dropped away. For every word is bounded, is finite, is limited, is limiting. Only when those words have melted into silence do the great mysteries of life show themselves to us.

Boundlessness is your very essence. As one dissolves into one’s essence, one becomes spacious. One feels oneself as spaciousness. That spaciousness has no boundary; it has no limit. There is no place in which one ends and something else begins. No. One feels one’s essence as an undivided wholeness of existence. Because of this, one no longer feels oneself as a self, as a separate self. There is just existence, the whole of existence. You are that. And so am I.

In this space, in this place within us, there is no boundary; there is no division. All is felt as boundless, limitless, infinite. The depth of the silence is boundless. The emptiness of the spaciousness is boundless. The energy within all this is boundless. Dwell here, my friends, and you will know the infinite.
